So what is the best horse racing staking plan?

First, not to burst anyone’s bubble but Fibonacci sequences sound exotic, but they have nothing to do with horse racing.

Now, let’s start with your bank. I prefer a 100 point bank. For example to bet £10 per race I need a £1,000 bank. I know that may sound like a lot, but it gives you peace of mind and allows you to bet without emotion.

Once I establish my bank I then bet level stakes for the month. At the end of the month I re-evaluate my betting point. For example, if I have a profit of £20 points for the month, my new bank is £1,200 so my new betting point is £12.

Very simple, however very powerful.

I started my laying tipster service on April 1st. As of this writing, I have profited 360 points since January 1st.

What does this mean?

It means I have doubled all of my subscriber’s starting banks.

If you started with £1,000 you now have £2,000.

If the trend continues and you follow my stacking advice, at the end of the year your bank will be £8,000.

That’s powerful, and profitable.

Very little money bet on Betfair right now but I managed to squeeze a 1 point bet at 12 on Banrock to win.

The only reasonable lay bet available is on Court Vision, the favourite, at 4.6, so 1 point on the lay

Presious Passion,who won the race last year and just recently beat Banrock by a nose opened a 20 length lead and never looked back.

I am taking Rip Van Winkle each way at 8.0

Yes , yes I know Sea The Stars is considered unbeatable, but currently trading at 1.62 is not much of a value bet.

It is also tempting to put a minimum bet on Lang Shining currently trading at 1000 but I will hold off today.

Hope that doesn’t haunt me later

****Post Race Update****

Lang Shining teased me for 8 furlongs or so but Sea The Stars prevailed.

It was a hell of a race for Rip Van Winkle who was second by a length.

Another plus day for the free racing tips.

I have not had any free racing tips lately so I am hoping to have one for the weekend.

However, my Horse Laying System is rocking along at a nice clip.

Not bad!

What I like about the system is that it is based on sound criteria and is not back tested and then filtered to produce misleading results. In fact since we first started betting my mentor’s system on January 1st every month has been profitable. What would you expect since my mentor has comfortably retired to Thailand using the system.

Anyways, look for some free racing tips later today or first thing tomorrow morning.

3:45 – 1 Point to Win – Vision DEtat – currently trading at 4.7 on Betfair
3:45 – 1 Point each way – Twice Over – currently trading at 13.0 and 2.88 on Betfair

You can see my strategy when I bet, take who I think has the best shot at winning the race but also add a long shot.

I am cheering for the long-shot though

So far I have only given out free racing tips on four races, The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, the Epson Derby and the Belmont Stakes.

Currently I am up 14.6 points.

Which means nothing so tread with care as I give out these picks for free.

I like the favourite in the Queen Anne at 2:30. But I also like a long-shot which is trading at a value price.

1 Point on Gladiatorus to win, current price on Betfair is 3.45

1 Point on Mac Love to each way, currently trading at 65 to win and 11 to place on Betfair

I really hate over-hyped horse racing tipsters.

I recently subscribed to a laying service to give them a try. I am always looking for a system that can add 10 points a month to my pocket. The service did not start until June 3, 2009.

Here is what I hate:

1. They post their results during their “test” period. Of course these are great results with a strike rate of 89%. Problem is that no one knows if these are legitimate picks or back tested ones. I prefer to trust people but you still cannot post past test results.

2. One day they send their picks out late, too late to place a bet. They even apologize but they still post it as a winning pick.

3. Posting “Proofed to Racing-Index” means nothing if you do not proof all of your tips. Of course the test phase was not proofed and they left off a losing bet today.

4. Brag about a 89% strike rate during the test phase but only achieving a 40% strike rate during the live phase.

Ok, I am done with my rant and I hope this causes a complete turn-around in the results and they start winning

Now my turn to brag.

My Lay System is over 68 points in profit since we went live on April 1st (notice I do not tell you about the massive profits earned since January because that was our test phase).

I very rarely give out win picks, but so far I am up over 14 points giving out tips on four races.
